Mt NelsonI woke up early and took the Mustang out for a drive around Hobart. Nice crisp fresh air and sun shining and no wind - just peaceful until I fire the Mustang into life. I climbed the mountain and headed up to the top of Mt Nelson - what a beautiful site!

Classic Adelaide 2011Day Two of Supaloc Classic Targa began with a perfect sunny Adelaide spring, with the temperature already sitting at 24C by mid-morning. The late start of the first stage of the day up Mount Lofty gave Maudie and I an opportunity to grab latte at the Feathers Hotel about half a km before the start of the stage. And what a stage it turned out to be - a twisting 9 km hillclimb on smooth bitumen right the way to the top, and the Saleen S281E - and the driver, loved every bit of it!
